During the Y2K era, Zigi New York released a highly coveted line of maximalist, mixed-media bags. They specifically paired heavy blue denim bases with eclectic bohemian trims, 3D fabric flora, raw-edge plaid textiles, and heavy metallic chain links. Since the brand eventually shifted its focus almost entirely to footwear (under the Zigi Soho label), these intricately embellished denim art bags are now rare, collectible vintage finds. 

A rare archival ZIGI find from the 2000s, constructed in deep indigo denim and covered in an extraordinary collage of crochet, tartan, dimensional florals, beads, stones, rosettes and butterfly appliqué. Finished with mixed silver-tone hardware, a chain strap, purple textile detailing and rich burgundy interior. An exceptionally hard-to-find example of the maximalist, handcrafted accessory design that defined the era. No identical example could be located on the current secondary market.
